Fall is here and with it we see riding boots, trenches, pea coats and Burberry scarves. Our newest line of woven wraps fits in perfectly with this scene. Luxe cotton. Herringbone twill. Window panel. Warm ash grey…
We would like to introduce you to Kirio – an exciting new addition to Tekhni’s growing oeuvre. Kirio, named by one of our testers, means “gentleman” in Greek. She described it as:
“A soft, beautiful drape, like an expensive piece of menswear. It’s going to fit just right and molds to you and your little one. It just hugs you. The bounce gives you good shoulder without a lot of bulk”.
This wrap is vastly different than anything Tekhni has put out before. It is a machine-woven take on a handwoven wrap. It uses a high quality cotton and comes finished and ready to wear, after one wash and tumble dry. First leaked at Mommycon, Kirio was described as timeless, fitted, luxe, classic and warm. It’s a dense weave and a medium-thick wrap, at around 280-285gsm, that will keep you and your little one snug and warm.
The first colorway, Cadet, is a medium grey. A dark storm cloud, a wolf, a charcoal smoke grey. It also features a tan-colored window panel accent. This wrap is an autumn staple, and Cadet is a perfect neutral to kick off our fall wraps.
Please join us for our release on Wednesday, October 15, at 4pm CDST. Kirio Cadet will be listed for sale in our Etsy shop:
